Subject: The 1st ever - Photo Forum - Scavenger HUNT!!!

Ok sooooo..In an effort to get your creative juices flowing, Ive come up with an idea!!! Is anyone up for a little Photo Forum SCAVENGER HUNT? Let's see if THIS works! This will be a group type THANG, so heres the deal, checkout the list of topics below. (Printing it out for reference will help!) Then go take pix!!!! Try to see how many NEW photos you can come up with to match the topics listed! As you're taking them, think of this as a LEARNING experience! There are 50 topics in total. Some are geared more towards "catching the spur of the moment". Others allow for a boatload of creativity and possibilities! Its up to you to challenge yourself and see what you come up with!

Ok here are some rules:

Please note this is JUST for FUN...NO PRIZES...Just in the spirit of FUN, LEARNING and SHARING!

Max Image size to post- 700 x 700 or less
File Size - 200 kb or less

To submit a Scavenger Hunt -Photo:

Select [Post a new message]
In the Subject Field, Enter Scavenger Hunt & the EXACT topic number and text. (see example below)

Once a topic thread is created, THAT topic gets crossed off the list (members should continue to share their related images and post them to each specific topic thread!)

SCAVENGER HUNT TOPICS

  2. A picture of YOU with an animal (other than a cat or dog!)
  3. An object that is dated BEFORE 1900 (must capture the date too)
  4. Upside DOWN
  5. A couple holding hands
  6. A fortune cookie and its actual fortune
  7. A picture of YOU taking a picture of you (mirror or some other reflective type material)
  8. A restaurant with non-English words in its name
  9. Somewhere that leads nowhere
  10. A city limit or town slogan sign
  11. Something thats cracked or broken
  12. An object being dropped
  13. a neon sign (other than for beer!)
  14. an OLD non-electric typewriter (show hands actually typing no computer keyboards allowed!)
  15. A tattoo (on you or someone else)
  16. A tropical drink with a little umbrella
  17. Worms EYE view ( think like a WORM -)
  18. A piece of clothing that would be worn by one of the Village People (the musical group)
  19. Capture a celebration
  20. someone (other than you) wearing a HAT
  21. A going out of business sign
  22. Something that seems or looks out-of-place
  23. someone at a vending machine (getem using it)
  24. A multi-colored glove or mitten
  25. Someone playing a musical instrument
  26. Something ORANGE (other than the FRUIT or JUICE)
  27. Emptiness
  28. An ice cream truck
  29. The JOKER from a deck of cards (stuck to your forehead)
  30. An object related to the 1980's
  31. Street life
  32. an object that is RUSTY
  33. A lawn ornament or statue
  34. Someone wearing a s.c.u.b.a. mask
  35. Getting dirty
  36. Capture someone elses emotion or expressions.
  37. Off the beaten path
  38. A sign with photographic terms or words in it.
  39. A tattered flag or banner
  40. Capture a BAD Habit
  41. psychedelic
  42. Anything the comes in 3s (ie -triplets)
  43. someone painting
  44. A fireplace (with a burning fire!)
  45. Friendship
  46. A gold STAR
  47. Wind
  48. Gothic
  49. A bug or insect flying
  50. Capture something that IS Black & White - (the actual colorsnot converted)
  51. Someone or something dancing

Remember this is a contest for "FUN". The only queries that will be answered is questions about resizing or uploading. Please remember to keep the subject as "Scaveneger Hunt" in your thread post. Makes the ebots easier to define. FUN

i copied the list & typed in the numbers on my notepad :P or i guess you could just save the link to your desktop but still need to able to cross them off

Just to clear some stuff up!

The idea behind the scavenger hunt is again to take NEW images related to each topic! Once a topic is POSTED...it IS crossed off the list! However you can STILL post IMAGES that you come up with relating to those posted threads.

I would also say a requirement to go shoot these images and do not drag up the old ones.
