Yep! Do u have enough yet or can I keep going? Also, is it one pic per subject per person or as many pics as we like per subject per person?? O_o

cynlee posted Wed, 20 April 2005 at 5:43 PM

ok!! 35,19,6.. scratched x... waves :D from my understanding it's a group project, one pic done for the entire group... so the ones you've done are done for all also wonder... are these suppose to be new photos too? guess we have to ask joe on the original thread, huh pascale :]

L8RDAZE posted Wed, 20 April 2005 at 6:12 PM

You've been really BUSY Pascale! The whole idea is to take NEW pix...once someone posts topic thread, that topic IS crossed off, BUT I intended/want others to ADD to each thread created with the OWN shots! There's no time limit either! Hope this clears stuff up a bit! Joe

tibet2004uk posted Wed, 20 April 2005 at 6:21 PM

Oh ok!! U scared me for a sec Cyn!! O_o LOL!! Oh well, should I delete those then since, even though it's not old pics (Steve one had been taken 2 days ago) they still haven't been taken AFTER the idea came out!! Let me know! ;)

L8RDAZE posted Wed, 20 April 2005 at 6:36 PM

Pascale....close enuff! Any New threads should be of NEW images!

ryno posted Wed, 20 April 2005 at 7:11 PM

Okay I got it.. New images same thread for same items in the hunt. You'll never believe where I shot this today! On the Staten Island Ferry. Swear to God.

It's a brand new boat with all these tourist attractions inside. I didn't quite understand the what it was about, but I think it was a world map with a compass in the center. I will have to check it out later. I was too busy exploring the rest of our New Ferry, and all the outside places to shot from:}

oh! ok... i got it now :] LOL!!! scared you eh pascale... BOO!! >:D<

tibet2004uk posted Wed, 20 April 2005 at 10:39 PM

LOL!! Well, I thought I nicked 4 topics on my own!!! And was like "Oh man!! What did I do???"!!! LOL!!

cynlee posted Wed, 20 April 2005 at 11:04 PM

me too... ignore my earlier comment... lol (i'll be checking them off instead of scratching them out now... hehe) here's an idea! Doug... if you make a link in the banner box saying "Scavenger Hunt" with the rules Joe laid out in the initial thread & 1-50 subjects... you can then provide the correct forum links to the corresponding threads & add to them as brand new ones are posted... then others can add their own version to one... does that make sense?

tvernuccio posted Wed, 20 April 2005 at 11:17 PM

My face is prettier than this reflection in a patio door...it has to be!!! So...here goes.....Tom. P.S. Pascale..wow! And, I didn't get a chance to pose like a real photographer since this was taken before I even saw the thread. We can live with it.

tibet2004uk posted Thu, 21 April 2005 at 10:22 PM

Tom, I don't understand ur last sentence I'm afraid!! :( What do u mean by "And, I didn't get a chance to pose like a real photographer since this was taken before I even saw the thread. We can live with it."??

TomDart posted Thu, 21 April 2005 at 10:46 PM

What I mean is this: Photographers often have neat images of themselves, looking arty and like they are...photographers. This was a joke of a kind. People here have fun with the forum and that is very good! So, I joke about not "looking like a photographer" with a very special image of myself, all dressed in photographer gear and similar items. The picture of me was taken while we had an outside time with the cats living here. We are with them when outside and while the cats played, I played and took this image of me. The expression "we can live with it" only says life is as life is. What you see is what is real and we will be content to have that and not ask for more. Or, the expression may mean we must deal with what is happening and live with that..even if difficult. That is not the meaning for the expression in my post. In my post, the meaning is that "tom is content to have this image posted and will not worry about it being good or bad." Does that make sense? I have an internet friend in Russia. I met this man on a jewelry "question and answer" website on about.com. where I reside sometimes. We have found language to be difficult but now I send email sounding more "Russian" in my English use than before. That is strange but we do communicate. I spend time to tell him of English(American English) expressions which can be confusing, even to us in the USA at times! He tells me of the same expressions used in his language. This is interesting. We all have common bonds. Have a wonderful day. Tom.

Ok! Thx for the explanation Tom! ;)

tibet2004uk posted Fri, 22 April 2005 at 4:50 PM

Hehe!! Cool one Joe! Very creative! ;)

TomDart posted Fri, 22 April 2005 at 8:28 PM

I like the cyborg shot! Glad the tubes and connections to the head aren't showing! This strange one is me taking a picture of me in the corneal of a cat's eye. I am there, hard to see but there. This is not a macro..a blown up full head shot so there goes the detail. Find me? Tom.

wackiej posted Sat, 23 April 2005 at 4:02 AM

Totally cool "GIANT SIZE CHRISTMAS BALL MAN"! And Tom, I can sort of make you out but it's kinda creepin me out. Weird Eye pics... You are lucky your cat loves you so much. Mine runs when I get the camera out. Jackie

tibet2004uk posted Sat, 23 April 2005 at 3:13 PM

Who the hell is that??! O_o He makes me think of an actor but I don't know his name! The guy who played the president in Independance day! Is that him?

wackiej posted Sat, 23 April 2005 at 3:30 PM

Grisham is a writer. A lot of novels, mostly legal/law stories. Several have been made into movies. Rainmaker, Pelican Brief and The Run Away Jury. I read a lot and enjoy his stuff.
