Subject: Scavenger Hunt 8)

There are these roads near my house that lead nowhere. They are just access to the main road (RT441) and end in natural vegetation. I suppose they were added with plans for future expansion. One "road" even has it's own name, hilarious. Anyway, I've found them kinda surreal and have been wanting to take some photos of them for some time. This scavenger hunt gave me the perfect excuse to go photograph some. It is hard to capture them fully from ground level...I need to go rent a hot air balloon and take more photos. :] --Kort

Looks like it is destined to be a busy junction - someone has plans. I bet they are hidden away in a cellar at county hall behind a door marked 'Beware of the Alligator' lol Nice reflections across the tarmac you've captured here :)

I love the atmosphere of this photo!! There's definitely a surreal feel about it that I find very inviting!!! Gorgeous colors too!!

This DOES have a very TWILIGHT ZONE kinda feel to it! Great shot!! Happy to know the Scavenger Hunt is "DOIN" what I intended it to do! Get ya out there...takin more PIX!

I heard of Scavenger Hunt parties...basically same premise you go/drive around lookin for things on the list, but have an alloted time to search. Each FIND is equal to certain points and when the timelimit is up, the team with the most point wins! Usually some kind of "money pot" is setup initially...each player puts in like $20 dollars

ok...something a bit different! I have a thing for reflections...I thought this one turned out really well! Throw of you perception...thats for sure! There are NO layers...this is just 1 photo! Only Postwork was to bring out details and color (contrast levels) Captured ALL the ELEMENTS... EARTH,WATER, AIR & FIRE!!!!

Cool one daak! But if I may, that huge red signature is so distracting! My eyes just couldn't stop looking at it, I tried to look at the rest of the pic but they kept going back to the signature! Just my 2 cents huh! ;)

I knew about this place but was not able to get out on the road to get the shot until today. It's a bit of a drive and I enjoyed every minute of it! Whoo Hoo! NE Nevada near a town called Mountain City.
