Hi, Does anybody know why I am not getting motion blur on the ground or the propellors? Rendered in Vue 5. 25 FPS Superior Quality (which includes motion blur as far as I can see.) Original render in .avi, just converted it with a freebie program so that uou could download it (hence the "unregistered" mark) BTW. This is the new model from Bazze that I am trying to beta test, a Dornier DO335 Pfeil fighter. Helgard

Looks like you're not getting motion blur anywhere, I would say that it is not even enabled looking at the animation. Have you tried both kinds of motion blur? There's a 2D ultra fast rendering motion blur option that would be fine for the ground, but probably not for the propellers, but still for the sake of testing it out render a frame with it enabled.

Choose "user". Load "Broadcast"(.urs). Near "Enable motion blur" click Edit. Change Number of Passes. Default is 1. Try 3 for a test. 5 to 10 should be cool.
And, the propellors should turn 90 during 3 frames.

The ultimate trick is to use alpha planes with a picture of fade propellors (motion blur in/on the image)... with slow rotation.

Thanks Phoul and DMM. I can't use the blade blur alpha plane trick, because the propellors are standing still at the beginning of the animation, and slowly speed up, reaching full rotation just before the aricraft starts moving. I am rendering under the new settings and will see how that comes out. Thanks.
