I've seen alot of images look like that, which were done on purpose and people use them as their desktop backgrounds. ;) Maybe I'll print a Large Print called the "Crystal Rose" and sell it to some gallery ;)

That is the best 3D model of crystalized cherry jell-o I've ever seen. I bet General Foods would pay big bucks for the wireframe. Or sue your butt off for deconstructing their secret formula.

You know, that fractal from hell, above, is not as useless as you might think. I once did a christmas wreath by taking a torus and doing very much the same kind of thing that you did. Add a few spheres for Christmas ornaments, et voila! Pretty cool wreath. It ended up rendering out looking like one of those rag wreaths you see in girlie knick-knack stores. I'd say you're on your way.
