Subject: Onslow - snakeshead fritillaries

following your comment on my last post, of the snakeshead fritillary, i thought you might perhaps like to see the original image, i'm quite proud of it - i'm not normally very good at flowers and plants i did spend a long time deliberating over which to post, in the end i decided the second was more me though i do like the first one too to tell the truth i do sometimes go a bit over the top with toning anyway here it is with the one i posted too thanks for the advice by the way - always appreciated flopsy

It is a nice shot of ths beautiful flower. Toning is always a choice of personal tastes as both images look good - I prefer to see the colours in this one, but that is just my taste. Your gallery has some superbly toned shots which I like a lot and prefer toned. Thanks for posting this flopsy you are right to be proud of such a shot :)

what a gorgeous plant!!! i never saw one like this before! It's beautiful capture!!! i prefer the color one myself because it kinda reminds me a bit of a red Japanese latern!!! sometimes i really love toned images!! just depends on my mood!!! :)

I definitely like the sepia toned. Honest...LOL the colour looks like a table cloth .The toned looks very artistic. Good dark mix
