Since I have applied the 4.03 patch, all my tools appear on the screen in the wrong places. I move them around, save the preferred state, and exit. Upon reentering all the tools are in the wrong places again. I have deleted the poser.ini file without any results. Anyone have any ideas?

Hi there! Yes, looks like I have found a workaround for this. It almost drove me nuts, too. It's very very simple: Start Poser, set UI to your likings, save preferred state, shut down Poser. Delete your existing alias in startup, create a new one. Should do the trick. If not, here's the kicker: Move your entire Poser folder to a different folder, do as above, start Poser and presto! If you like to, you can move it back afterwards, seemingly doesn't matter (with exception of alias)... Please report if this works in your case as well. Cya Skuld

Your suggestion lead me to do a little more investigation. If you open the properties of the shortcut you'll see that the startup folder is empty. When I filled in the correct starup folder, it all worked perfectly. WOOT!

Wow, never thought it may be that simple... =8-) And yes, shortcut is the correct name, alias is the Mac thingie.
