Seeing Doug's thread about his flash unit reminded me of this circuit I saw some time back while searching for electronics for my car, and might be useful if any of you build circuits. By my reckoning the parts should cost about 1.50-2.50 ($3-$5) and is easy enough to make. Getting a little 'hobby circuits' box to mount it in (approx 1) and wiring direct to the flash from a disposable camera (again 1 from the Pound Shop) would make a neat, self-contained unit. A fully functioning slave flash for around 5? Worth a try! (",)
