After doing the Valley Forge pic, I wondered what Earth would look like as Lowell knew it. Picture huge catterpillar tracked vehicles searching the planet for the remaining drinkable water. I have in mind the crew of this vehicle coming across an oasis with dead trees and shrubery and some cracked mud that is all that remains. What I really need is those dead trees! If anyone can point me in the right direction, I'd be gratefull.

xFrog has a wonderful dead oak tree in their new xFrog 3.2 beta. You can get it from greenworks.de. They claim that their program does organic modeling. The beta has about 7 really nice trees like a Norway Spruce to an English Oak. They can be saved as .obj and imported into Bryce. The models even have textures! You have to join their eGroup (now Yahoo groups which I do not like) but there you can get support and even MORE models that will work with the beta. Hope this helps, Tankred

Very impressive image Fozzi. I have to hand it to you, you're making models in bryce that rival more expensive apps. :) that VF looks awesome in the background. :)

The doctor says I have way too much blood in my caffeine system.

Thanks for the link, tankred. I downloaded the program and had a look, very nice, only trouble is the files export as "obj" which is bryce 2 and not "obp" which is bryce 4. I get an invalid command when I try to import, oh well. Rim, thanks again, the vf is the mk 2 version which I will post up in the gallery soon.
