My 11 year old son left a school paper on the counter the other day...one of those deals where they have to create a short story using all their spelling words. I LOVED his last two lines: "Life begins its evaporation from the day we're born. There's a lot of friction between then and death." Just thought I'd share a proud daddy moment. :)

:) Thank you for sharing that! Seems your son is already off onto a brilliant career in words! I love that! :) Diana

Now there's a turn of phrase that I am envious of. I understand why you are so proud. :)

So what were the spelling words? Between and Begins? JUST KIDDING!! Reminds me of myself as a kid (although Im still only 20).

Sounds like it would also be a superb opening to a story, long or short.
Keep the paper.
First editions are valuable 8^)
