Does anyone know if Curious Labs finally fixed the following irritating bug that they introduced in the 4.03 patch in the NOW AVAILABLE Pro Pack? Preferred state reverts to the factory state on relaunch of Poser.

I don't have that bug with Poser4.03 Are you on a PC or MAC?

I'm PC and they acknowledged this bug on the Curious Labs web site as a bug that was introduced with 4.03.

If I understand it correctly here's the solution for PC: Delete the new Curious Labs folder from your programs menu as well as any desktop short-cut to Poser.exe Then, create a new desktop short-cut to Poser.exe Open poser, set-up your UI the way you want it and store that to a memory dot. Make sure you have "previous state" checked in under preferences and set a "preferred state". Close Poser. The next time you open it, all will be as you left it. -JH.

Thanks! This worksaround the bug for sure. I sure wish Curious Labs would have posted this workaround on their site instead of just admitting to the bug and saying it'll be fixed sometime. But, do you know if the bug is fixed in Pro Pack?

I don't know if it's fixed in the PP, but I suspect they would have.

heyas; on a recent thread, somebody said the fix for that was to open the poser.exe shortcut and to fill in the startup directory info. (which is certainly hella easier than deleting stuff and rebuilding shortcuts and nonsense.)

Which part of that is nonsense? People have tried just replacing the desktop icon before without luck. Are you saying the program menu folder is missing info as well?
