Here's the basic, and it is now basic, trust me. Start Bryce 5.5 Click on the new "Launch DAZ Studio" button.

Studio will start. Bring up your figure. Do whatever you need to it. Click the "To return to Bryce, click" button. Bryce will automatically pop back up, and your figure will load into your scene.

Need to then tweak your figure? In Bryce, click on the "Launch DAZ Studio" button again, and Studio will restore up on your screen. Change your figure however you like. Again, click the "To return to Bryce, click" button. Bryce will pop back up and your figure will be updated. That's it folks. AgentSmith

Now On some Clothes and things that are slightly shiny,Reflective in DS will be a Higher Reflection in Bryce...

foleypro posted Fri, 29 April 2005 at 9:26 PM

Also say you want to have more then 1 DS model in your Bryce scene at a time...Import 2 or more... Oh wait say you didnt load 2 or more meshes but you still want to ...OK go ahead do it... But I want to keep 1 or more meshes in my scene and not have them all go back into DS at one time...OK...Break the DS link for the Object in Bryces Object Menu Bar...But you wont be able to Play with that model in DS anymore....

Hmmmm, "Bring up your figure." That's the bit I just can't seem to do in Daz, so I never got any further. (sigh)

One thing I've found out on my machine that might help:

When loading DS from Bryce, it maximizes the DS window (I'm on a PC). When that happens, the center panel doesn't refresh so it looks like I didn't load a figure when in fact I did. To get it to show up, I click on the Minimize button at the top right of the DS window (the center button), resize the window if needed, and the center panel now works properly and I can see my figure. -darlisa
