Here I used the power of RAW files, to help correct the overexposure of the lights. I processed the raw file again this time exposing for the lights, making the horse almost invisible. Then I copied and pasted this image into the one exposed for the horse. To blend the two layers, I used a layer mask to reveal the correctly exposed lights.
