Hello, I installed the new Bryce 5.5 with Daz Studio this morning and was able to import a Poser figure into Bryce successfully... Then I installed the Content Bundle that comes with the 5.5 upgrade, and now when I use Studio to try and import anyything I get the following error: "No importer for the file format can be found" Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks, Brian

I'll keep checking DAZ, when a solution pops up, I'll be sure to copy/paste over to there. AS

Did you post the message in the Bryce or DS forum? I rarely go into the DS forum and may not have seen it. I just posted to one I found in the DS forum asking some of those having a problem to try and install the standalone version of DS and see if they get the same error. -darlisa

Yes, posted in the Daz forum, no reply as of early this afternoon...Honestly Dar, I dont want Daz Studio or I would have gotten it, Im beginning to feel that I over paid to get some upgraded textures since nothing else works.

You don't have to use DS if you don't want to. You can still use Poser with Grouper or MeTaL Fixer if needed but Bryce needs DS in order to use the integration capability. And DAZ does have a 30 day money back guarantee. -darlisa

if you really want to... You can strip out any "content" from your DAZ Studio directory, and it should only be around 8Mb on your hard drive. Even if you don't, it's still fairly small. If you never click the new Studio button in the Bryce gui, you will never know its even there. Just an observation. AS
