Subject: Is there a Money Back Guarantee with DAZ?

Hello, I saw someone posted something about DAZ's money back guarantee, but I am not sure if it was legit or just someone making comments. In my opinion there is no difference between 5.0 and 5.5 NO faster Renders, and I am on a relatively fast graphics machine. The DAZ Studio is sporadic and does not work with Bryce correctly. Basically I paid $79 for a bunch of textures and terrains that were supposed to be free. I definitely would like to opt for the money back guarantee if one such exists.. Thanks, Brian

Great thanks! It's a shame because I went through the whole program and aside from some terrains, textures and materials (that were free) I really don't see any difference.

Then you need to take a closer look my friend... Faster Importation on scenes.. A ton of Bug fixes...Bryce doesnt let time stand still anymore..

DS intergration..If that isnt different from 5.01 Then I dont know what is...? OpenGl that works like it should and extra settings.. Terrain editor Optimization... Light Lab Optimization... Materil Editor Optimization.... So that is just touching the surface of what DAZ has done to Bryce... But hey go get your Money Back and be happy knowing that for you,you did the right thing..

well if you would like to point me in the direction of where I could take a closer look into using these features I might be happy with the program.

I have been using Bryce since 2000, so its not like I am some newbie complaining...

again... if you have any good tutorials or reference materials to find all these new great features... please let me know. PS... How do you get the Open GL to work? I can't find the option.

I must be missing something...

I set it to that and it shows me a preview of the last render I had...

I thought it was supposed to allow me to move my objects and keep their textures visible in the main window.
All I get when I move an object is wireframes

Did I misunderstand this feature? *EDIT... Nevermind... I kept hitting that box to cycle through the 3 different stages, then when I held it like you said, I found the list... Thanks..

Oh is THAT what "Open GL" means? Coooool. Now if I can just get the darn thing downloaded. I've tried and tried but so far all that's happened is I've lost 6 available attempts.... (whimper!) Fran

Did they bump up your number of attempts? (11?)

Started yesterday morning at 12, so I've already lost half that. I keep on getting "page unavailable" and when I try again, I have to re-log in and then I find I've lost another life. Thank goodness there was an update, is all I can say, because at the regular 4 attempts I'd have already lost it all! Money down the drain for nothing!

You can reset the download links if needed. If you use up all the attempts, click on Order history, locate the item and click on the reset. It takes about 20 minutes and you'll get an e-mail telling you its ready.

Wow, coool! So if you can reset that, why do they set a limit in the first place?

That I don't know. You'd have to ask DAZ. :P
