I have a problem that I just can't seem to figure out. I have made a pair of boots for Aiko 3. I did not model the boots so that her foot and toes would fit in the boot. I use a pose file to hide the foot and toe, and everything looks fine. When I pose her, the toe of the boots stretches. Any suggestions on how I can fix this problem? I have tried adjusting joint parameters without any luck. Also when the boots load and I conform them to Aiko the right knee goes funky. As soon as a pose file is applied to Aiko the problem goes away. Any suggestions on that one? Thanks!

What version of Poser are you using? What app did you use to model the boots? Did you check the normals direction after you mirrored/copied from the original? They should all face out. The polys may have too many sides in the copy. Poser doesn't like polygons with more than 4 sides (n-gons.) Double sided polys can also cause holes in the mesh or black spots. Strange things can happen during import/export writes. Don't know about the toe stretch. Was everything zeroed? Hope this helps but I'm just speculating.

Since the boots' toes aren't in the same place as Aiko's toes, the joint parameters will need adjusting. Just shift them down until they coincide with the new toe positions.

And nice modelling....this should look very cute when finished.
