I'm just curious, for those that use V5I, how do your renders compare to Lightwave renders? What limitations have you discovered? V5 radiosity mages look stunning to me, but how do they compare to Lightwave, in your opinion? Also, I tried to import an untouched object in PZ3 format, liteluvr's Cathedral, and the demo of V5 Pro wouldn't import it properly. Is there a poly import limit in the Pro or Infinite versions? Or in the demo? Thanks all.

To be honest I'm having a hard time adjusting to the way VI works. People here are doing incredible things with it,so I'm not questioning it's integrity or abilities. I just can't get comfortable with it's graph styles and nodes, and the way cameras, lights and objects are animated frustrates the %##@#$!! out of me. Until some book is written with an A-Z approach I don't think I'll be using it much unfortunately (because as I said, I KNOW it can produce great results.) Lightwave just seems to make perfect sense to me, and with FPrime and HDInstance I have ecosystem instancing and lightning fast radiosity renders. As has always been the case, what works for one will not always work for all. Sorry, I know that doesn't exactly answer your question, but that's my $0.02 Canadian worth. (Not much, huh?...
