I've been hunting around the Internet for some good Star Trek style ships to import into Poser, and I've found a lot of 'em in various formats (mainly 3DS and Lightwave). Unfortunately, Poser's not really up to doing a good job of importing them. Does anybody have any suggestions about importing these formats into Poser without looking like crap? I've been using Accutrans and UV Mapper to try and fix the meshes up, but I have to admit I don't really know what I'm doing here.
