I could probably fix it very quickly if you would want to send me the files. If not then thats quite OK but it may take longer using this thread. My first check would be to look at the hierarchy then the IK chains. Did you create it in the set up room or by writing a hierarchy file?

I've had this happen to me before. Saving the file, closing Poser, re-opening Poser and reloading the file usually fixes the problem. Apparently something in memory gets corrupted and closing down and reloading Poser is the only way to clear it out.

I have also had several of these explosions show up when making character poses. One thing which I found helps is eliminating non necessary morph channels it gives the machine less to process and prevents such explosions. Rawn

Well I've tried several times to reload the figure and it hasn't fixed itself... I used the setup room. There aren't really any morphs on it at the moment. If you are willing to take a look at it PhilC that would be great (as long as you tell me what was wrong and how to fix it). I'll send the file along later tonight if that's ok (it shouldn't be too large zipped up). Thanks

"I used the setup room. There aren't really any morphs on it at the moment." I meant to open the file up in a program like mat-pose-edit and delete any of the morphs in the figure which didnt move. Meaning if you edited the arm to be posed a certain way or to have a muscular appearance, then dont delete that channel, only delete the ones which remain at zero. I dont think you will see that info in the setup room.
