What/where are the best scalp stubble on/for a bald V2/V3?

There's Low Cut hair by pjaj for M2 in RMP. It may be persuaded to fit. If you have P5/P6, you could edit a texture in Photoshop, then use a displacement map.

I tried the displacement routine with and it kinda worked but I have had trouble replicating it perfectly. Low cut is on my wishlist as a maybe but I am concerned about head shape. I am looking for a texture to add to a map... I have tried making speckles and smearing them into the growth patern and then taking up the contrast and it hasn't worked... No luck either sampling from images of stubble though I just thought just this second to try close ups of beard stubble... but even just getting the hairline right is proving tough for me. I think working right on the head skin texture map is the way to go though. Thanks.

Have you tried creating stubble in the hair room?

Stubble is extremely easy to do in the hair room.

I will try hair room, I have totally stayed away from it on account both of my geriatric computer and the fact that I have never seen Hair Room hair that I liked, it looks like straw and wire and doesn't match the figures as well as transmapped. One can not see most of the strands on a persons head so these hair room hairs look like the must be scaled at least ten times bigger in diameter than a real strand of hair. A hundred times? But I'll try it for stubble.

The Here Comes Trouble (Girl) package has a skullcap as a prop, along with some mohawks and other unusual hairstyles :-)

If you try the hair room PhilC has free skull caps that people use to put the hair on. You can get them here. Good luck! :)
