Nice texture indeed. The vessels become more pronounced and ridgy!

Nicely captured you have picked up superb detail on the petals and the lovely golden colour :)
And every one said, 'If we only live,
We too will go to sea in a Sieve,---
To the hills of the Chankly Bore!'
Far and few, far and few, Are the lands where the Jumblies
live;
Their heads are green, and their hands are blue, And they went to
sea in a Sieve.

Lovely image! I have taken some of withering blossoms without this success. Pity the images are generally the perfect blooms...this is nature and beautiful as presented. Thanks. TomDart.

Beautiful shot...I recently posted a similar one..http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=942611 Yours is a bit more withered and fitting for such a title, but thought I'd let you know..mine is just "Tulip", but it's starting to whither... -Peace :-)

Your tulip is gorgeous, I especially love the curled petal and the vibrant spring feeling of your photo.
