How often will content paradise be updated? I'm asking because I'm moving soon and don't want to miss any of these great freebies.

Hey Mazak, any idea how long it took me to make those rubber clips work on the windscreen? I think I could have modelled another whole model in the time it took to set up the movements and controls on this model. What do you think of the way I did the textures on the lights? I tried something new and I think it looks very realistic. The chain for the tailgate unfortunately was modelled a bit short by the original modller, so it stretches a bit when the tailgate is down, but I don't think it is that noticeable. PS Did you see the add-on pack available for the model?

You've ruined CL's otherwise perfect record of offering nothing but bugs as the featured freebies. But I'm not complaining. >> Both of these vehicles where used in the opening sequence of "Sky Captain and the World of Tommorow" ....
Seriously? Cool!

Yep, CL has a reputation of offering bugs. Sometimes they are models, and sometimes they are, well, you know, bugs.

I wonder if all the free bugs CP was offering was an inside joke about CL.

"it mentions additional textures ...where do we get those ???" Related products. Commercial item though, but very well done even if I say so myself, lol.

Have any idea when you might offer a fix to show all of the dials? I just ran this through PPP and P6 and none of the wheel, tailgate etc. dials were showing up. Tried both the P4 and P5 versions. Then I ran the P4 cr2 through my text editor and changed all the hidden 1 values to hidden 0. Naturally everything that really shouldn't be displayed is but the movement dials do appear under the transform section and they do work. Outside of that hiccup it looks like a fun vehicle to play with.
I must remember to remember what it was I had to remember.

NB!!!! That is not an error. If you had read the read me file you would have seen that all the controls are on the body tab, as in the picture above at the start of this thread. If you use the dials as you are doing, by unhiding them, then none of the ERC controls work. The entire model is animated from the "body" tab, except for the controls for removing the spare wheel, which are on the tab for the spare wheel. All this is explained in the read me file, and one of the reasons why I include a read me file with the product. To give you an example, to lower the windscreen takes seven dials to do if you use them your way, if you use the dial on the body tab, one dial controls all seven the functions. SO, THIS IS NOT AN ERROR AN DOES NOT NEED A FIX!!!! PS But if you want to do things the hard way, then you can use the seven dials, hee hee.

HeHeHe the dials work perfect, see my 2nd pic ;) The rubber clips are a nice detail. Your model has a lot of these details, bravo. :) Mazak

I rather liked the bugs and was earnestly hoping for a dragonfly. Oh, well. Enough people here do military art and these look well made, so they should be delighted.

leopard seat covers? ouch! The vehicles are sturdy enough and could possibly be used for scientific expeditions, with a spot of paint, but I wonder how the natives would feel about the skin of their fire-breathing jaguar god splayed and trimmed in purple? OTOH, for bring medicines to a remote village in hostile territory, the first vehicle might be the only one to get through. Carolly

LOL! As long as there are no lions in the neighborhood, that ought to provide plenty of camouflage. (Actually, if there is a camera in sight, the lions won't be.) I like the painted hubcaps, too. Nice touch. Spiffy. I was also thinking that it could be decorated like a gypsy wagon, and nobody would suspect that the boxes in back held the dirt from a vampire's grave, and the passengers in back were long dead. With a spot of thought, we can do all sorts of fun things with it. ;) Thank you! Carolly
