I notice that they don't tell you the pricing on this little gem. I find it funny that it's running a 1.2GHz processor. Guess it just goes to show that processor isn't everything =)

Only 230 gigaflops? Bah, I have access () to several supercomputers that have to be measured in terraflops. Although this one apparently is small enough to fit on my boat.... (*) *If by "access" I mean they'll let me come in and stare at them if I ask really nicely **I don't have a boat.

Boy,.........I gotta get new glasses,.........the first 2 times I read this I saw "creating a turkey implementation", I thought,...........a turkey implentation ? What the hell's the advantage in that. Yeah,...........as far as the price,......if you have to ask, you can't afford it.

What the heck IS a gigaflop? Is that a gigabyte that melts? Sounds sort of Daliesque....

1 flop = 1 floating point (I think) calculation a second 1 Gigaflop = 10^9 calculations a second Basically, more flops = faster.

The big one (96 chips)starts at $100,000(usd). Mahray os correct, that's a billion floating point operations per second(times 230 for one of these).

Only 100 grande? Lordy, where's my checkbook! I'm paying just under half that for my entire higher education (disregarding scholarships).
