Using P6, I encountered this problem I am unable to solve. Maybe someone can give a solution. I am working on a Battletech mech for Poser. And this I encountered. Before view. I can see the mech (parts of it).

Then I zoom out, to get the full view of the mech, and parts start fading away, to the point I am unable to see the mech in full view. After view, zooming out.

Check the "Yon" setting for the camera.

The Hither setting makes objects that are too close to the camera invisible (it adjusts the close range).

The Yon setting makes objects that are too far from the camera invisible.

Yup..was the "Yon" setting. Increased it to see the Mech. I was very fortunate to get this render (finally), after poser restarts my computer, or/and I turn my back when rendering, then come back. I find poser is not running anymore, and only showing my desktop. Their is a patch next week sometime. In the meantime I will be playing with this mech which is in 3DS format. Once I find the proper size, I will export into an Obj file. Then grouping I go. I found this mech with others in a Battletech website as freebies in 3DS format. So, a project I am in for to use in Poser. We need mechs in poser. Their are Battlemechs for for poser to download, but the scale is at 550%, which we can not use in the walk cycle. We can scale them down to 100%, but they are not actual size, and problems start to happen. Here is my lucky render. This is a "Owens", which is used for Scouting.

"We need mechs in poser" Your wish is my command... http://market.renderosity.com/softgood.ez?ViewSoftgood=28766 http://market.renderosity.com/softgood.ez?ViewSoftgood=32453 http://market.renderosity.com/softgood.ez?ViewSoftgood=32679 http://market.renderosity.com/softgood.ez?ViewSoftgood=33907 Nice mech by the way. If it's a freebie do you want a free texture done for it?

Yeah, I have seen those mechs for poser, many months ago. Not to keen on those. But others will be. When I finish this mech, it will be a freebie along with others. I will eventually make textures files, for a finish project. Then others can make texture files.

That's a pretty cool mech. It should look great when textured. One word of caution, though: if you're making an "official" Battletech mech, you won't be able to offer it in the Free Stuff here due to Renderosity's policy on copyrighted materials (even free items). You can announce in the forums with no problem, but you can't upload it to the Free Stuff section. --John

John's absolutely right. Plus that reminds me I forget to say when you wrote... "I found this mech with others in a Battletech website as freebies in 3DS format". Always seek permission first from the original modeller before you distrubute. I know your intention is good, but even if simply convert from one format to another you could fall foul of copyright laws. Trust me, even an accidental ommission is no defence and no fun.

Oh yeah...for sure will ask for permission first.
