Seriously Real is a set of textures for Bryce :)

Erlik posted Sun, 08 May 2005 at 1:17 AM

It's a set of materials. Install it and then go the its directory in Bryce Conent and add it to the Material libriaries. As to the old conent, export just what you added to the libraries (cause the rest is same) and simply import into libraries.

Erlik, Er... how? I know there was a thread with this in - with pics. But I can't find it... The only way I've added stuff to the libraries before was just one by one, and I've only just got B5.5 so I dunno how to add whole new libraries. And where's "Bryce Conent" ??? Or even "Bryce Content"?????

Errr... typoes. In my defence, I had woken ten minutes before posting that and I was just taking my coffee. :-/) [your Bryce 5.5 installation directory]/Content. For the rest, see the other thread.

Fran: You need to look in your PRESETS folder under MATERIALS and OBJECTS in your old Bryce 5 Open the MATERIALS or OBJECTS folders and you'll find your catagories there. Just copy them over to the same folder in your new BRyce 5.5.....

TheBryster, I've done that now - spent all day adding all the objects as well... Now how do I find this Seriously Real stuff and add that too?

Did you get a download link on you account page for br_sc005_SeriouslyReal1.exe or something like that? There seems to be a bit of confusion over this. Some people have two links, I had one but no-one really knows if there should be more. If you have got it, run it and it will create some .mat files, mine ended up in ContentDAZ ContentMaterialsJonathan Allan If you have got these, import them into the materials library. P.S. I have e-mailed DAZ to ask if the single installer contains all 6 volumes which we are supposed to get.

FranOnTheEdge posted Sun, 08 May 2005 at 6:46 PM

Ah, found them. And yes, there were 6 of them. It wasn't a link - the .exe file put these mats there when I ran it - I just wasn't sure how to access them, (or where they'd gone to) now I can, thanks.
