Ok... here is the deal. Since I have been late with setting up the new challenge, and since the winner of the Arpil challenge did not contact me in time, I decided to make the next challenge a little special. This challenge will end on June 29th. Yes.. JUNE :) And since you have a little extra time, I thought I would make it a little more challenging. The Theme for the next challenge is "Silver Screen". The idea is to create a scene from your favorite movie. HOWEVER, partly to avoid any copyright issues, and partly to make it more interesting, you will have to create your own shot. The movie has to be recognizable but you should not make an exact copy of an image from the movie. If you have any question about these instructions, I will try to answer them in this thread. Good luck !

Let me try to anticipate some of the questions and explain a little bit more what I have in mind :I am looking more for an hommage to your favorite movie, or a scene that could be in that movie - I am NOT looking for an exact copy of a picture from that movie. The shot has to be yours - not that of the movie director.
Other than that, you are free to use whatever prop or character you need. There is no limitation on the type of movie either.
You may NOT :
You may however :
(follow the link for an example of this last suggestion).
If you are in doubt or you have questions, please try to ask your question in this disucssion first. If you already made an image and you are unsure about it, submit it to the challenge and send me an IM so I can look at it.

And to make it a little more special, I am pleased to announce that BountifulKnight graciously offered a prize for this challenge : The winner will be able to pick one item from his store.grylin posted Thu, 12 May 2005 at 5:57 AM

Who is allowed to vote, and if contestants are, how do I do it? If not, can anybody vote or only admin, moderators, and the like?
