It is my understanding that UltraFractal 4 will have lots of animation tools, and it is due out very soon. I know there are a few freebie programs that animate. Scott Draves' 'Electric Sheep' screensavers are a unique concept in animating Flame Fractals. I hope someone who has a clue can help you more :)

Fractals will always amaze me!

Scott Draves' Flam3 render engine can do animations apparently... using the flam3-render.exe Scott recently posted an awesome animation (100mb!) that he'd done with Flam3 - and it's worth every minute of the download time! You can get the Flam3 render engine from the following link... http://flam3.com/index.cgi?&menu=code T.

Who? Me?

I've done animations with UF & Apo. I use the animation render script in apo and UF has a stand alone animator that is in beta testing when I used it. Here's a UF animation I posted here awhile ago: http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=889968&Start=1&Artist=crazywitko&ByArtist=Yes

And for a few other animations of mine you can view them by clicking the link in this post.
