Well, the modem sequel is on. :( My firewall got an error, hung up my system, and the backup failed, and the system had to be reformatted, and I've lost ALL my writing and other stuff. Does anyone remember Jon's Haiku challenge? How does one access it? (I need to go there so that I can copy my Haiku from there to my new file.) Dialyn, would you be able to post the Tove Janson info again please? I've also lost the story I was working on and will have to write it again. But it's OK, I can improve on it now. :) Things could be worse.

Hope that helps. Sorry that you lost everything. I know exactly how frustrating that is. It is a terrible feeling to know all your hard work has disappeared.

Ouch! That's not good. Reminds me that I need to get a new CD burner for back-ups. I've been skating on thin ice for awhile now. Hope you can recover most of it. jon

I think I can't recover any of it, Jon, but in my usual way, I'm pondering the parable that'll surely emerge out of this, and then I'll WRITE. Ha! Thanks guys. Dialyn rocks :) Thanks for finding that link! And yeah I know all about having computer trouble. I can't tell you how invaluable backups can be!!
