Hello all i just don't know how to make an ecosystem, this is what i do 1. select the ground 2. go to the shader screen 3. Select ecosystem circle on top 4. Add the plants or stuff 5. PRESS Populate...BUt....nothing happens, i just get a flicker of the Screen, and nothing happens. The thing where it says "0 instances" doesn't change, it stays 0 instances. Anyone know how to make ecosystems, or maybe the mac version of infinite, has a bug?? Well i'm a very dumb newby, so any help is appreciated

Ecosystem not work with the ground. Ok with terrains, objects...

Wasn't there something that infinite planes can't be populated? A little hard for a software to decide how many elements there should be. But there should be a warning - you are right. Try a normal object first - sphere, cube etc and see wether it works. Good luck!

Yes, we know you are a newbie, we get it already. Please stop making a big grand stand shouting to the world you are a "dumb newbie". EVERYBODY who comes here and starts using Vue is a newbie at first. We all have been where you are so we understand where you are coming from. And no, you are not dumb for asking questions, that is what this place is for. So just relax, post a simple question and please leave all the newbie theatrics at the door. :)
