I believe the fire dragon is an addon for the millenium dragon. It's not an actual dragon, but some more textures and various maps.
TamiL posted Wed, 11 May 2005 at 9:34 AM
You must have this installed to use Fire Dragon,

Fire Dragon is only a texture set for the Millenium Dragon 2.

Fran, DAZ has a 30 day money back guarantee, just contact them and let them know. On each product page, there is a listing of any required products and the Fire Dragon page lists the Mil Dragon 2.0 as a required product. It also has text on the main promo that it is a texture for the Mil Dragon 1&2, as does the description. It's easy to miss those sometimes in all the excitement.

You might try the Mil DragonLE that was apart of the Fantasy part of DazStudio when installed...? Maybe the Texture will work...?

foleypro, " You might try the Mil DragonLE that was apart of the Fantasy part of DazStudio when installed...?" The what????? By the way - when downloading... I mean installing, DazStudio latest version what happens to your stuff in DazStudio? I noticed that when I got Bryce5.5 and Daz was installing it first UNINSTALLED the previous version of DazStudio. I don't have any scenes there yet - haven't figured out how to even start a scene in there yet, but I DO have all the stuff, like the stone tower, and the dragon textures... what happens to them? Oh, and Darlisa, it's way, WAY too late to say give the firedragon back - I just bought the Millenium Dragon. I'm a bad, BAAAAD girl! gg

Sixus1 (now called PoserFreebies) has a Water Dragon. I've tried it, it seems to work. There are some other dragon models out there, but they may not be poseable. I'd try the Poser forum, they do a lot more of this kind of searching..;)

DAZ had the Mil dragon as a freebie no long ago, but the MilDragon 2.0 is super! One thing always check the 'Required' products when shopping at DAZ, I'd say 80% of the stuff there is what are called 'expansion' packs, additional textures, props etc. At least over at RDNA they say what's an expansion pack and what is the full product.

I think it may have been a "light" version of the mildragon they had free. Even if you had it, I'm not too sure how much use it would have been - I'm not sure what the difference was between the "light" and the full mildragon apart from a lot less polygons. As Zhann said, when at DAZ (and any 3d place), always check to see what the required products are before buying - that'll tell you whether its an addon for something else or a standalone.

I just bought Mil Dragon2, it comes with Mil Dragon 1 AND the Eastern Dragon and a mess of stuff to with them.....Great value for money. The Fire Dragon is a MAT Pose for MD2. Fran: Your MAT could've installed in your POSER directory if you have one........

NOTE: also always check when installing things to D|S or Poser that the path is correct. Most DAZ stuff comes with an installer, but things here and elsewhere are in zip files
The path for unzipping files would be;
C:ProgramFilesCuriousLabsPoser#(whichever version you have)
or
C:ProgramFilesDAZDAZStudio
That way you always know where it is, cause doing a search is a pain.....
