Is there a filter out there that makes a grid to go on top of art work that stays on the top of the art work when you save it? I know PS has a grid option but it can't be saved on the art work. Thanks for any help. BJ

Set the pattern layer to multiply.
Presto!
As they say in Italy. Or Spain. Dunno. (you can easily make your own pattern if you need a larger or smaller version)

There is a Grid.zip at bottom of page. There is no 'installer' included. Copy the included .8bs file to your plugins folder. This is a Selection plug-in, not a filter. It shows up in Photoshop as Select/Other/Grid. You can space the selection both vertically and horizontally then fill with any color.
