These look quite nice. Brand new item, a v3/m3 pack of skeletons. They're not cheap, but it looks like they have given us the quality of skeletons some of us have been wanting. Cool-butt textures sold seperately. :o( Just a fyi, for those interested. ------------ "Real human bone data was used in the creation process, so all 206 bones are represented in each skeleton and all 32 adult teeth have proper crown occlusion and are accurately represented from sculpted digitized dental data. Both skeletons not only fit perfectly inside Victoria 3.0 and Michael 3.0, but are fully articulate and can be posed along with them too." ------------ Image - DAZ

Just now saw this;"but everyone who has purchased Bryce 5.5 will receive a coupon code that will give them a 90% discount off the sale price for a VERY limited time! And the first Bryce Madness item is the new V3 & M3 Skeletons!"
So, that's like $3.00 for the skeletons.
Otherwise, for any other buyer, they are 30% off right now.
Read at link for all the detail.

That skull looks incredibly good. Better than the $2000 one at cgtalk. But I'm still not certain about the breastbone.

Excellent...is the coupon code coming in email then?
AgentSmith posted Fri, 13 May 2005 at 2:27 AM
On that 2nd link they state; "You will be able to see the coupon code during checkout and it will be listed in the unused vouchers and gift certificates section of your account page." If, for any reason, it isn't there, contact DAZ, they'll make sure you're set up. AS

I checked out the template for the skeletons, lol! Every single piece is uvmapped out front and back and laid out as it should be, even each individual tooth. All spanning 5 seperate image maps. AS

5 seperate maps for the texture... If you apply the texture pack which has a lot of 4000 pixel size maps its going to bring a few PCs to their knees with a mere single skel lol

This is why a future Bryce needs to be able to use .jpg's outside of the scene file, like Studio and Poser do. AS

Yup. As long as you don't go moving your directories around, its all fine. Something that gives you the option to have internal or externally stored image maps with a scene file would be ideal.

Thanks for the heads-up, AS. Grabbed 'em now since the deal is only good until the 15th. Wonder what other items they'll be discounting?

The odd thing for me was that when I went to check out it appeared that the discount being given was only 50%...not the 90% that was mentioned. I wrote to the sales folks at Daz asking about it but haven't heard back yet.

I can't believe it, but I sprang for these today. I always pay via Paypal and then send a cashier's check, so there is a time lag, but I'm lookng forward to getting these. What a very nice collection. I work in a hospital and do all kinds of brochures and literature, so ... I may report on how very tremendously cool they turn out to be. With that discount coupon, the skeletons and textures came out to just over $17. Not bad.

Excellent deal. Having just upgraded to 5.5 and being a PC member, the V3&M3Skeleton upgrade was only $1.47. :) I'll wait on the textures though - Billy-T's new product had to come first! ;)

THe textures and skele was $12 total if you're a Platinum member and bought Bryce. Part of their Bryce Madness sale. Appartently that coupon you get from buying Bryce can be used on other "Bryce Madness" items as they come out. Of course it's a way for them to get you to buy more stuff. But if it's something you're already looking for it does save you quite a bit.
