Hello all, I'm referring to A) the green leaf plan( no trunk) or B)the green leaf with flower plant( no trunk). or any other simpleleaf( non trunked) plant. when i make an ecosystem, palm trees and regular trunked trees do populate, quite alot^_^ but when i try to populate a terrain with the A and B above, i just get really scattered plants occasionaly occuring in the terrain, almost not present. Even i changed the "PRESENCE" setting to 500 or 1000 , etc.. and they still not many. In the Vue Promo movies at e-on they had really awesome BUnches of plants all together and filling up the terrain, so why not mine?? am i doing something wrong?? thanks

Can you be more specific with the plants? What names? Maybe you should reduce their size in the "general" tab, I've noticed that the smaller the object, the more you get, and they probably need to be small anyway, if they are small plants. I know I have populated 20000+ dry grass or patch of grass objects.

Ok, here i made a sample image. After putting two types of plants( adding) i pressed Populate, and it said 519 instances... but then i put 3000 in the Presence of the flowery plant you see here, and it didn't change..

It's me again, i 'm posting a shot of the Vue Infinite promo movie and notice how they have these same flowery plants and the terrain looks fuller with plants. This is what i want to do, fill it up with plants.. notice what i said above, with trees, it's easy.. i get a bunch of trees, but i'm not getting results with the flowery plants or those other leafed plants.

Use the density slider if you haven't already. But the trick is not to use the slider and type the number in at 150 or 200. In other words the slider can only go to 100 but the number field accepts higher numbers. This goes for most of the vue sliders because the sliders only represent a limited range.

OHh thanks lanaloe. that did the trick i wasn't even using that Density tab before you told me abou it, but i did what you said and now i get population to the max:) That's great.

Lanaloe, thanks a lot! Didn't know you could go more than 100 in this slider!
