I'm having serious problems to reach Rendo for a few days. When I finally get in the slowlyness drives me crazy... it takes about 5 minutes to get an image displayed. And I often get the msg "Image wasn't found" Guess that is because of the long time that was needed. Today I have spent quite some hours to catch up with my friends by checking my long ebotlist but I got only a few comments done. sigh Just wanted to know if anyone else has such problems, too! Really hope it doesn't depend on my own PC! I'm giving up right now! I want to apologize for not commenting on your work in time. I'm truly sorry! Have a most wonderful Whitsun weekend! Monika

I'm using DSL for a while... haven't had such probs before... I'm tellin you the truth... every image lasts between 5 and 10 minutes to be displayed. RR has been slow lately but so extremely slow it is since two days. Just got a comment on my latest upload from Beth (newpy) telling me she has also had probs on a few images in the last two days.

I have found it faster actually. This could be your server, or maybe it's time to do a cookie delete, and emty cache. For some reason..not sure, but I use Firefox and whether it is just mind mind playing tricks, it is faster than IE

I have fast DSL and I have VERY slow access to Renderosity.
Just a minute ago one of RR's servers was "down" :(
Then after waiting for some minutes I tried the access again and I received a message of 'wrong username or password' (???).
Now it is working but still like if I would be using an 56 Kbs 'old' modem.
I have no problem of speed when accessing any other foreign site.

the server did just go down as Carlos said, seems ok now... use to have 56k dialup before getting this DSL, been a big difference for me! 100m :] before it was like pulling teeth to see anything! still slow at times i guess compared to other sites

Thanks for your replies... special thanks to Doug for the hint of doing a cookie delete and empty cache... have done it but those probs are still there. rollseyes Having the feel it's even worse today! BTW I don't have any probs on other sites!!! So that means it doesn't depend on my PC or my server. Was just happy to get my b'day gift for David posted today! Right now I thought "Hey, the Forum works faster!" and DANG... was kicked off once again! sigh Anyway wish you all a wonderful Whitsun weekend!
