I hit the point where I've tried so many wrong ways to do something that I can no longer thing stright. I want to create a simple hallow conic section in the spline modeler, but all I've been able to make are some pretty bizarre shapes. I've tried lathing, several envelopes, extrude paths, various cross sections, the spiral preset (which gets me close but not close enough) I know it's possible but I can't figure out what the _blank I'm doing wrong. I've been working on it so long I've forgotten what I need it for :) Here's an example of what I'm attempting, I did this in Bryce, I know I could use a boolean in Carrara but I'd rather do it with a spline.
