Guys, I'm looking for anything in world war 2 characters. I have downloaded a German WW2 uniform, but am looking for anything in the airforce preferably. Has anyone seen anything like this here, and if not, could any of you guys point a newbie in the direction of some good tutorials to get me started on creating my own. Thanks in advance, Puma.

There's been several threads on this from time to time, so a good start is to search the forum. Vehicles and weapons are fairly easy to find, free and in various stores. Anthony Appleyard has just released an M3A1 submachinegun, for instance. There's a German SS uniform out there for free which, with Army ("Heer") insignia and different colouring would be fine for the panzer crews. The panzer crews wore black, while the self-propelled gun crews wore the ame uniform in the usual army colours. I'd like to see good WW2 British battledress, as that was used by all the services, in various colours. Khaki for the Army, and RAF Blue for the air force, just for a start, and by all ranks.

There's a German infantry uniform freebie at www.corearts.com. Also I there's a U.S. paratrooper uniform in the free stuff here. Also, lots of good freestuff at www.vanishingpoint.com. There's a couple of WWII airplanes there with pilots but the pilots are in .obj format.
