is there a way to view pz2 files w/o having to install them in poser first? thanx. :)

Depends what you mean by "view". Pz2 are text files so you can view them in a text editor. But if you mean view their effect, then you have to view them in Poser, or a Poser like program. MAT poses load textures (among doing other things), so you can view the textures that they load in an image viewer such as Irfan_View.

P3do explorer lets you look at the pz2 rsr files if there is any (free at the link).
