Does anyone know why when I conform some clothes to a figure they go bezerk and reconform themselves poorly when I pose the figure they were conformed to beneath it? It only appears to be some limb or extremity that does it too, sometimes adjusting the neck will, but moving the shoulders wont, then sometimes the opposite. Anyone have a clue? I generally take IK off and do not use limits.

Check that when you think you're posing the figure, you haven't accidentally selected the clothes instead. For a while, that got me when I was starting out.

Also make sure the clothes you are using are made for the figure you are using: sometimes V2 clothes conform well on V3 when standing at standard position, but then screw up when you modify it - if this is the case, only solution i can think of is to parent the clothes to the chest (or hip) of the figure and then pose both of them independently.

Occasionally, this seems to "just happen", especially if the figure is Y rotated 180 degrees. Often it can be fixed by changing the pose very slightly, in particular by not Y rotating 180 (try 179 or 181 instead). Hope that helps - if not, posting a screenshot might help to pinpoint the problem.

Thanks to you all, I usualy keep adjusting the figure until it "fonzies" out and corrects itself.

Occasionally, this seems to "just happen", especially if the figure is Y rotated 180 degrees. Easy way to solve it, which I just found by accident: rotate it -180 degrees. Same thing, no clothing screw up.
