Can someone help me out? I'm using Poser 6. I've referred to the manual, but as usual, it only tells what something does, not neccessarily how to use a function correctly. I've got an image I want to render. I want the final render to be a little over twice the preview size. BUT... it's still rendering at the smaller size. Now I changed the Render Dimenstions accordingly but either there's another step I haven't figured out or P6 is just ignoring the request. So, what am I doing wrong? thanx in advance kmw

P6 won't open a new window like previous version did. Go to Render Dimensions, set to "exact resolution", check contstrain ratio (otherwise you might get cutoffs) and then enter in the height/width/pixel. Render it. When it's done you should have a 4way arrow that you can move the picture around, that or just go ahead and export pic.

Thanx, MaryK. The problem was different tho. I was doing exactly that and still getting a render same sized as the preview. But I discovered what I was doing wrong: I'd set the dimensions to double the size, but I still had the Render tab set to 'Half'. Appreciate yr time. take care kmw
