In your experience how long does it take for an order made with Content Paradise to be processed? I got a message at checkout that said my order was pending, waiting confirmation. Several hours later still no e-mail and no download. Do they process the orders manually? Thanks

That is a long time. I registered and made an order on Sunday afternoon; even as a new account, the payment/check/release cycle was only a few minutes. It may be some glitch in the process, maybe nothing to do with CP themselves. My bank, here in the UK, had a major problem with card processing a few weekends back. Timing, though, may be significant. My experience may have been an hour or two before you hit problems. Don't forget timezone as well as local clock time when you try to compare.

You're not the only one. Although I have made a few successful purchases there, a product that I bought on Saturday the 14th, and for which I received a confirmation e-mail saying the transaction was complete, is still showing "N/A" under the download column.
Presumably the weekend has prevented any response to the two messages that I have sent via their "Contact Us" facility, but I have to say that following this experience Content Paradise will now be the very last place that I look at when considering buying content.
Still, at least they usually show where the main hosting for the product is, so customers can go there instead.
So, from me, CP gets one black mark and an overall customer satisfaction score of 4 out of 10.

I waved a debit card at them for a purchase and it didn't take more than a hair longer than it took for the free downloads. That is all automated. If you half to wait more than a few minutes, there is a snag. It might be at the bank, it might be at the server, it might be a hiccup in a node somewhere... but there is definately a snag. krazik is the nick of the CP guy who checks in here. You can IM him as well as leave site messages if it is a weekend or something. Carolly

"I waved a debit card at them for a purchase and it didn't take more than a hair longer than it took for the free downloads. That is all automated." I know. The purchase has gone through, but there is no download link (unlike all of the other stuff I purchased there) just "N/A" in the downloads column. I've checked with the merchant and it should be an ordinary download. Obviously a glitch, but it still gets them a black mark. And it will get a whole lot blacker if I haven't had a satisfactory reply by close today!

I too have made a purchase there. 3 items I was able to DL two of them but the third has no link just N/A. I noticed I have two emails from content paradise confirming that the order was ok. just thought it wierd to have two confirmations.

Hey guys, we (CL) just moved into a new bigger building and have been offline since Thursday night for the move. Mary (CP's support person) will be going thru the backed up help tickets and held orders and will be in touch later today. -Rylan

Thanks for the info. I just received a message from customer support and I'm trying to resolve the problem.

I glad others have been able to make purchases there. I've been able to access the free downloads but the store and feedback pages seem to have java errors. Am going to try a different browser, I was using Netscape which works everywhere else. Hopefully IE will work better.

William: I use IE6 and I've made purchases there without any problems so far. Grab the $1.99 special offer space ship if it's still there, it's bloody amazing!! thefixer poser coordinator.

Virtually instantaneous, like the others.

Well, here we are, almost FOUR DAYS after my credit card was debited. Still no download link, despite a promise from CP that the problem would be resolved in 24 hours. I know that lots of people have had no problems, and I've had several previous purchases go through without problems, but the mark of a good company is not how they perform when things are going well, but how they handle things that go wrong. They've failed this test. I have now demanded a refund for my purchase and will do no further business with them.

For the record, I think they are still having serious problems. I have been trying for days to log on. Here is a copy of my latest effort to use their system. For one thing it is not working for me, and apparently for others. For another it does just not look well designed. One should not have to fill out a form just to send an e-mail!! Who thought that up? They won't answer the phone either. I have been trying various things on and off for days. I agree with those who wonder about doing business with a operation where getting through is like winning the lottery. Congratulations to the lucky winners. Lets hope they can get their act together. "I have spent a lot of time tring to log into your site. I put in a name, pjbear and a password, and then tried to authenticate. But I have not gotten back an e-mail. I tried a number of times to follow your instructions. But still have not gotten back an e-mail. I do think you have a problem with your system and would like to hear from you. I called Zygote on anothe matter and mentioned this to them and they mentioned that they have heard that others have been having problems with your system. So I do think that there is a problem either within the system or with the clarity of the instructions. Would you please communicate with me?"

Let me add to my frustrated comments on the thread about problems with Content Paradise. I just now got a call from Mary and she suspects that my server is filtering out the e-mail from them to me. I very much appreciate this effort to work out the problem. From her end, she set the password verification for me and I have already tested it and downloaded a file. So we are working on it and from my end I need to call my server tomorrow and see if that is the case so that I can get e-mails from them in the future. Thanks Mary.

Well, I wished I would have found this thread prior to attempting a first purchase at Content Paradise. 18 or so hours after I've put in my order and still no joy. I thought that by combining an order for product on sale here and RDNA plus an item only available at CP that I would save myself three transactions. Learned the hard way I guess that CP is just not an option for this consumer in the future. It is unfortunate for both the vendors and myself that there will be some content in the future I'll have to pass up if it is only available through Content Paradise.

18 hours ago puts you well after close of business on a friday. We do our best to help but we're not around 24x7. We are avaiable M-F 9am to 5pm PST. But I can help you if you pm me your order number or the email address you contacted CP support so I can look up your problem. -Rylan e frontier

Thanks anyway, but I'll wait until Monday for it to be sorted out. I now know that CP doesn't have 24x7/weekend support; as I mentioned before, lesson learned.
