I loaded the Victoria 3 figure in Poser 5 ( with all updates) and tried to put some clothes (all official Vicky 3 clothes)on her and all she did was twitch. I tried to put some clothes on Mike 3 and he just twitched also and no clothes appeared.
Judy and Don get dressed with Poser conforming clothes with do problem. What to do.
Poser still seems like a diseased program.

Ok, when you say you're adding clothing, what method are you using? Are you just double-clicking the icon, or are you using the double checkmark at the bottom of the library? Also, make sure that you're adding clothing figures, not the textures to the figure. I did that when I was first starting out and it was quite frustrating, lol. It should be working. Also (not that I recognize this as a bug), make sure you're using the latest SR release of Poser 5 to get the most out of the program. hope that helps! MS Poser Mod.

V3 refusing to get dressed is a common phenomenon.
Not unusual at all.
In fact, I'd estimate that she spends around 75% or so of her time being naked. Maybe even 85%.
I know very few other adult women who do this.
Seriously --
I don't know where you are in your Poser knowledge. For the purposes of answering here, I am going to assume that you are a newbie. If you aren't, then I ask for your indulgence.
I don't quite follow what you are doing......I assume that you first loaded V3 into the scene, and that you then loaded a clothing figure into the scene.
You then used "conform to" on the clothing figure, and selected "figure 1" (or whatever V3 was called in your scene) in the conform dialog box.
The clothing article should then "snap" into position around Victoria.
Of course, at that point you might need to do some other things in order to deal with issues such as body parts poking through the clothes, etc.. If this doesn't work, then something else is going on.

I'm curious to know what "twitched" means. I can't think of anything that would make Mike or Vicky twitch, unless you tickle them. LOL Seriously, "twitching" would imply that you applied a pose to them or something, rather than clothing. So I guess we need a better explanation of the steps you've taken so far.

Judging from the galleries, a lot of people are having the
same problem as notefinger.

Well, Vicky is a hussie ... she's parading around naked all the time. But Mike usually has more manners than that. 8-D

Depends on the orientation of the website you visit. :o}

The Twitching is the IK. I've been noticing it in P6 quite a bit. It is noticable when you apply a MAT Pose to the figure until you turn the IK off.

It sounds as if you using Mat poses, intended to change an item of clothing once it is loaded and usually found in the Pose library, rather than actually loading clothing, usually either in the Figure library or the Prop library. Either that or you are using second-skin clothing, which does change the surface appearance of V3, and you are using a preview mode such as Smooth shaded which won't show it until you render.
