few months ago I begun this project but I had not the chance to work on him until now. After Elle 2 I wanted to create a more symetrical mesh. Unfortunatly I have not yet found a nice name for him, so your suggestions are very welcome. I was thinking of a Swedish firstname since he looks kinda scandinavian. textures are not included ;) He will also like Elle come in a lowres in the same pack. Maybe with a hires head. And like you know me, i'll make him smile as soon as I complete the setup. poser 6 render with scattering effect. poser 6 hair and the clothes I borrowed from the kind Jessy. I'll show you more very soon. Thanks for viewing. Mychelle-Anne aka Nef

the low wireframe model.

mathman posted Sat, 21 May 2005 at 7:26 PM

Wow, Mychelle-Anne, he looks amazing :) As for a good Scandinavian name, let's see .... how about "Anders" ?

neftis posted Sat, 21 May 2005 at 7:34 PM

Thanks mathman ;) Anders can be cool...let's see what other people come up with... By the way....just LOOOooove the scattering effect in p6..it makes the render looking more real. I have not yet tried with IBL etc...it probably be really interesting to see the results.

One thing I also like from p6 is the render slider...Now if only they can release the patch to fix some problems!! Not that I had met a lots of it, i guess I have been lucky so far.I am glad I have not seen any memory weird stuff.Altough in the setup room...gggggrrrrrr

Any chance you can or will coordinate with PhilC and Kamilche in their new clothes convertion program "Wardrobe Wizard"? whenever you get far enough along.

hello Tyger_purr. Actually when the mesh is totally ready, I can ask PhilC.maybe not fast enough for the first release, but maybe in a later patch or something.I'll see with him.

Ghostofmacbeth posted Sat, 21 May 2005 at 8:25 PM

Looks pretty good and welcome back ... Wish I could figure out the scattering stuff for a render I am working on

neftis posted Sat, 21 May 2005 at 8:35 PM

thanks Ghostofmacbeth. The scattering was pretty simple to learn for me since I used the default poser 1 and decided to make some changes from there.I have accentuate the texture strenth a little in the material room. but for the rest it is truly to test render all the time.until it's seems right. here is another test...

Dave-So posted Sat, 21 May 2005 at 8:39 PM

that is a great looking kid... very nice...will be looking forward to his release :) as far as a name ... I've always tied SVEN with Scandinavia :) has a nice ring to it...plus fits the age of the young man..

Ghostofmacbeth posted Sat, 21 May 2005 at 8:40 PM

Yeah. I just have been too busy to fiddle ... I see the coolness and think it will be pretty easy but the material room is more than a little confusing.

neftis posted Sat, 21 May 2005 at 8:45 PM

Dave-So thank you:) indeed Sven sounds really scandinavian. Not so sure for the young part, my hubby's uncle is not so young anymore, and he is named Sven hehehehe.I tought also Ulf, Markus, Magnus, Frederik... I don't know...still thinking...:) here is the body so far.this is the low poly version.

I thought this little boy's older sister might have been Elle :) ... there certainly is a bit of a family resemblance.

What a cute child! He's got just the right amount of mischief in those eyes and looks like a Leif to me :)

gustaf(v) is another scandinavian name. (my grandfather's name in fact)

Looks great and the name Colin popped straight into my head for some odd unknown reason :o).....Steve

MarianneR posted Sun, 22 May 2005 at 2:00 PM

The name Emil came to my mind when I looked at the first picture in this thread. He really looks great!

PapaBlueMarlin posted Sun, 22 May 2005 at 3:07 PM

Neil or Niles might be a nice name :) He has very similar features to Elle. It will be fun to have them in the same scene together :)

mathman posted Sun, 22 May 2005 at 4:52 PM

steveshanks, there has already been a Poser character called Colin (he was a freebie, derived from the P4 boy).

neftis posted Sun, 22 May 2005 at 5:14 PM

Thanks everyone for your precious inputs! I think Sven came up more often so what about Little Sven?? I have no intention as for a free release for now (It's my work and I still have to live from it ;) I am sure you understand), but rest assure that if I do release a low version for free perhaps in few months, I will announce it in here! I am glad you like my overall work on him. I will let you know when he is release. Many thanks for all your wonderful comments. I work very hard on my stuff and it's always a pleasure when people let me know the appreciation. Thanks again. Many hugs from Sweden:) Mychelle-Anne

He looks like a Lars. Its the Scand equivalent of Lawrence, meaning "laurel crown".

Looks like a young version of my nephew Alex. Very nice. And I agree with vilian, he would make a good playmate for Britta.

mathman posted Wed, 06 July 2005 at 8:17 PM

Keep up the good work, Mychelle-Anne. I must say that you and Cath (Mec4D) make a formidable team :) It's going to be great to see some variations to V3's and M3's pouting faces. It sounds like you have about 3 or 4 projects on the go, so make sure you don't overdo things :)
