In this pic, I did the background in Bryce (rendered in Bryce). I made these two figures in Poser, and then imported the background in. I then rendered in Poser...but the shadows of the figures a dark, and the ones in the background are light. I changed the shadow color for the scene (lower right hand set of buttons)...and it was correct before render (wireframe view), but not after render. Can this be done? Than you.

I don't know of a way to change the shadow color outside of postwork.
But if you just want the shadow lighter, more of a grayish tone,
then select the light that is procing the shadow.
Then in the parameter dials pop-up, select Parameters:Other:Shadow
and set the value of shadow to something less than one.
for your scene I would estimate you should set it to
about 0.6000
