Ohhh...Serge...I am picking my jaw up off of the floor. This dress is astoundingly beautiful! Thank you so very very much for all of your generosity and your superlative artistry. Even without texturing, it looks like a soft satin...this is a dress from a dream.

Damn, hope my wife doesn't see this one she will want to sew the real thing! Its great, what type of material you thinking for the texture?
sergemarck posted Wed, 07 February 2001 at 4:16 PM
Thanks, everybody. Nan, dress is conforming, cape more posable than conforming. Great Bizarro, you will find a first Gloria texture (just posted) in the texture page. Others should come. Serge

I really love the women,s period clothes, they're exquisite. Is there any likelyhood of trying your talented hand at some outfits for our poor, underclothed males? I can just see them in something Edwardian or Louis XIV or even Gay '90's(The era, of course).

Artnik, I try actually to render some dresses models I have as close as possible...and I have I lot to learn again. After that, why not ? But you will have to wait a little :) Serge

Is this dress "sittable", meaning can the main figure this is posed to sit and not have the dress all over the place? Please see my Leia thread on her new dress for the issue of that problem.

Darrell, I must say I focused on my meshes as I learn modelling and actually mappings and confoming are not the best. I admit I use few poser itself. I use poser existing cr2 just organizing the parts same as already made poser dresses. I hope much from power pack to better that as I was always unable to learn correctly from the Nerd tutorial (my own incapability, nothing on Nerd who have incredible results with his conforming clothes) I will have a look to your thread and try to improve my next works. Serge.

Oh, it is an awesome dress :o) I wasn't saying anything about it. I was just wondering if you had solved the posable sitting problem with long dresses. My Leia dress is in the same boat- it can't sit! L

The only solution I know at this time is morphing. I have some progress to do but I will learn :)
