I have got Bryce 5,5 and must admit I like the ease with which you can import Daz/poser stuff. Only thing is some of the textures don't seem to import properly - I tried V3 with artemis x and the materials for the clothing didn't import correctly, looked like they were reflective material. Are there any setting in DS that can help to import textures properly? ie render settings etc. Sorry I don't have pic not at home at the moment. Thanks

What I would do is, before fully importing it into Bryce, I'd check the settings in D|S on the suit. Render it first in 3Delight, and see if it's got the same 'look' as you get when you import to Bryce. If it does, either use the Material Selection Tool (on the left side of the Spot Render tool) and select an area, then right click and choose "Select all Materials using this Texture Map" and go into the Surface panel, and turn the specularity, reflection, or whatever material property is making the product reflective. HTH! :D MS

This is a very useful trick; I did not know that you could select all the different body part that uses the same texture so easily! Thanks a lot!! It also would be great if I could integrate Bryce scenes in Daz. Do you know if they will make this possible? Regards

I have the same problem with my materials that look fine in Studio being very reflective in Bryce 5.5. I have gone into the material settings and changed it, or left it reflective ;-) I wish Bryce had a "select all materials using this texture map" option! Maybe Bryce 6...
