I also have a problem with motion blur. I get excellent blur in Vue 4 and 5, but in infinite it sometimes just won't work. and then suddenly it works so well that the entire scene has motion blur if I just move the camera 1 mm.

yah it is a bit weird :( it should be based on how much the object moves over time of the animation set for it, but... shrugs Perosnally I find it better to make the blur in Paint Shop so I can be precise.

Okay the blur of the cobras is flat/side on view, your first has a 3/4 profile with some yaw( i Think)that gives it dimension...in the cobras the blades are on top of each other and the mass negates almost all colour in the blade plane (too much dark space) and remeber the blades cantor/angle to get more lift/power...R

For most instances I find the 2D blur works not only faster, but better also. If these images are part of an animation I wouldn't worry about it.
