Thanks, Pascale! when is the next one? 36 hours from now? Pascale, how are people supposed to drive on your roads? doesn't look like it's a one-way street, but jeesh...hardly looks like there's enough room for one lane let alone two!

Damia, your place is beautiful!!!!! you don't have to mow THAT desperately! i LOVE to mow...but only if it's with a PUSH mower. I hate the riding lawn mowers yawn. I dunno, ever since i was kid i always loved to mow grass. i was a tomboy. still am! LOL! anyway, you could almost pay ME to mow the grass! when we had our house i always mowed because kemal has severe allergies. i just like the physical activity i guess. anyway, your place is quite charming! Carlos, your place has its own charm! i dig urban art, and i enjoy your pictures!
tibet2004uk posted Thu, 26 May 2005 at 8:52 PM
Oh my Damia!! This is so beautiful!!! And what about mowing?? What for?? We very rarely mow over here! We like our garden "wild"! ;) And I guess that's why I like urs so much!! Carlos, ur rear view is quite incredible! Where about do u live? And yes, to drive around here is quite a challenge I guess! But I don't drive so better ask Laurent! ;) All I know is that we have to stop very often to let other people go and vice versa! It forces u to be very "social" and it teaches patience too! I don't even notice it anymore to be honest! ;)

Pascale...I love your shot! How on earth do people drive there? No wonder you guys have invented the mini-cooper and the MG.There's no room for anything else! Sheila, your image touches me.Reminds me of my mom and her aide. Can't say more... Damia.garden work is always overwhelming. But natural is lovely in it's own way. Carlos, that graffiti is beautiful. So expressive.Would be an interesting crop I think...I also like the left side of that building.Great color and texture. I love the windows!!!! i understand...maybe one day you'll tell me the story. doug...thanks for the reminder!!! it's a gorgeous view! not sure if that's Ky. bluegrass or not. there are many varieties, and oftentimes it's seeded mixed with another kind. i'm not very good at recognizing the types of grasses. Carlos, that garden shot is gorgeous!!!!

Wow! This is your view? All I see is cars and ridiculous faux japanese landscapes.Houses everywhere, one more excessive than the other.I love my house. It preceeds my neighborhood. It would have been destroyed long ago by developers if we had not rescued it.I am amazed by the scenery that comes so natural to you!In another era my house might have had such views.Alas now it is a pearl in the heart of suburbia.

I've been waiting to see yours, Kort! I was half-expectin' alligators though! LOL! Jeesh....Incredible captures and views!!!! kemal and i were seriously talking a few weeks ago about moving to Pensacola. We both LOVE Florida and Alabama...it didn't work out though. sigh. Your images just show exactly WHY we wanna move down that way...and well, we both miss the sea terribly!!!! Thanks for showing!
TwoPynts posted Fri, 27 May 2005 at 2:12 PM
Sigh...I do love our house. And now with housing prices skyrocketing, we could sell for quite a profit, but would have to move out of the area to buy something as good or better and that isn't an option. I do love to go on my patio at night and watch the moon rise over the lake and listen to the frogs, or get up early and sometimes be greeted by a spectacular sunrise. Believe me, I know how lucky I am. But when I spend almost 10 hrs a day in a dark, windowless office, I feel I deserve it just a little. Yes Pascale, it is like holiday year 'round, except when I'm at work, which is most of the time. :[ Sheila, I hope you get to move down this way sometime. Honestly though, I don't get to the ocean much, but it is nice to know it is 20 minutes away. =]

California?Tuscany? You have me curious.
