Same as with any Software... In my opinion(Which doesnt amount to a Hill of Beans) Its a Very Healthy step in the right Direction for DazBryce...Most of us for years have been Loudly screaming for Poser/Creature support in some way...We have it to a Certain Point(And I am sure DAZ is working on Full Intergration Of Poser/Creatures for Animataions) As to the other Improvements...Well I am So Estactic that I am Laughing as I make a scene now in OPENGL and for Placement of trees Especially 2D trees its a Blast no more rendering to see if it is in the ground...You see it is.. I definitely see a 30% Plus Faster Render times on Most scenes...Yes a few are Longer but the Difference in the Over all Renders are Slightly to the Better in 5.5 at least to me... The Biggest thing is the annoying Bug fixes which are tooo numerous to think about...Hey no more being late for work because Bryce made time stand stilll........... Just my Humble Opinion...
foleypro posted Fri, 27 May 2005 at 2:17 AM
The render Times are Faster For most scenes but I also meant that the Renders seem to be more Robust looking in 5.5 maybe its a higher Contrast...Dont know..

Good to see you back in action, Ser Ornlu... Hopefully we'll get more artwork from you now that school's out? Or are you just taking a break? (I don't know if you were here for my metamorphosis, but I used to post under the chick-magnet net handle "shadowdragonlord", in case you were wondering, "Who the hell is that egotistical bastard?") I hope all is well in your world, welcome home...

Great to hear from you. I see that your handle has changed so very much. Surely none of those stalker females will recognize the similarities. School's out for summer break, meaning I get to become slightly more sane again before heading back to the EE department of death. So, look for lots of stuff to come.

Welcome back Ornlu. Looking forward to your company & creative genius, in addition to recent reemergence of fellow Brycers. (pidjy & hobbit) I knew if I used that Mat of your Eye you'd get a strange tingling sensation and an urge to spark up ole version 5 again. LOL JK WB!! ICM

Aye, I thought it a strange coincidence as well ICM! Ornlu, your eyeball is still everyone's favorite Evil Eye. Keep at it, Retina Man.
