Does anyone know where I can find mature female characters for V3 or V2? There seems to be a gap in the market out there for a late 30's - 50 lady. I'm trying to bring more realism to my scenes by rendering not just the younger female but also the sophisticated older woman too. I can't seem to find any figures of that age group. Does anyone else share my frustrations or does anyone have any links to share that might help? Thank you

Arduino had a free 'Old Vicky' figure that I use a lot for V2 but she's more like 60-70 perhaps. Somewhere here in freestuff is a V3--I think the set is called "retirees," again perhaps too old for what you want. Try searching freestuff for "mature" there's another V2 character somewhere. I haven't seen a lot in that middle range though."Democracy is a pathetic belief in the collective wisdom of individual ignorance." - H. L. Mencken

Thank you. They're all a little too old for what I need. I think it goes to prove that there's a real gap in the poser market for characters of that middle age group.

Antje had some older faces for V3 that are fabulous. I just checked for them as I bought them here but they are gone, perhaps if you contacted her she could help you. The faces range in age and are actually quite sopisticated.

Vicky is ageless unless she stays away from the temple for too long. In the real world, she goes downhill fast as you've seen :-)

You could use about any texture you have to adjust some of the head morph dials to get the results you are looking for there are plenty of morphs to age a character if you can't find what you want out there then sometimes you have to do it yourself ;-)

You might take a look at "Rose for V3" in Renderotica's free stuff.

Kymj is by far one of the BETTER Merchants you might want to consider for the MATURE FEMALE. I have both of them AVRIL and EDITH(I think) and I feel GOOD in Recommending and supporting this MERCHANT.

One of Anton's makeup sets for V3 has an "Elegantly Aged" texture. If you're in the Platinum club, it's cheap enough to be worth it. :)

The Elegantly Aged texture is in the Starlet's Face Maps.....somewhere on these forums, there is an example Anton did of the results, which I wouldn't say is all that aged, but certainly is elegant.XENOPHONZ posted Tue, 31 May 2005 at 11:54 PM

I strongly second the comment on KymJ.Here's a link to Avril.
BTW - I have both Avril and Edith.
Some of her other characters, too......but they aren't mature females.

It's nice to see a character that isn't based on "barbie" or "twiggy". I tend to gravitate to "realistic" character addons; that's not to be confused with "photorealistic". The average female body has bumps and lumps and cellulite. They don't have mega sized boobs that defy gravity and stick straight out. High fashion models aren't "real", they are made up and dressed up and air brushed to remove bumps, lumps and blemishes...just take a look at that reality show to find the next top super model. Some real ugly ducklings there.

Thanks for the comments on my characters folks. I've had a bunch of requests from people wanting more middle aged females and I'm working on it. I'm currently creating a woman in her early 40's and as long as you guys like em, I'll keep em coming. They're a good challenge and I really enjoy making them so feel free to let me know what you would like to see and I'll try to fill the bill :)
