I've been trying to import a Poser 5 scene into Vue 4 (witn Mover installed.) Both Vue and Poser have all the current patches installed. Unfortunately, the file keeps generating an error when I try to load it. Is there anything I can do to make the file compatible, or is it just not going to work? The scene does have some P5 materials applied, and the figure in the scene has ERC and Joint Controlled Morphs, so I don't know if those are part of the problem either.

Shouldn't be a problem, I never had any trouble with basic Vue 4 Esprit and Poser 5. P5 materials won't be interpreted correctly, but you shouldn't get an error.

It's not an animation. And to verify, I made a new scene containing a few props, the standard lights, and one posable figure (the new Daz skeleton, if it matters.) The error message is that "An error has occurred while reading poser file (error #-10006)" The error message comes up instantly, there's no delay or noticeable hard drive activity first. There are no textures loaded on the skeleton, and the props are set with default Poser Pro Pack texture settings.

Have you ever successfully imported a Poser scene before? Maybe Vue can't find the Poser location.

I have imported a scene, but not since the last time I re-installed everything. Ie, it did work at one point, but the current setup has never worked, since I didn't try to import a Poser scene until recently.
